    Flow.. looks fine to me. If it doesn't affec the plant growth and the shrimps can swim against it it's perfectly fine.

    Desipite the nice growth on the branch I do wonder if this tank is mature enough for a filter feeding shrimp. Worst case you'd need to dose twice a week with a bit of liquid fry food.
    3 potted plants and 6 strings of plastic do not make a planted tank!

    I'm going to get the algae under control first. The shrimp have made a lot of progress and I've been manually removing some, too, but I'm not comfortable with adding bamboo shrimp until I figure out how to balance everything.
