Food for Tetras
I was wondering what do you use?
When I last had Tetras Neons and Lemons I used Hikari Micro Pellets, frozen Brine shrimp and a basic flake. I can not find the Micro Pellets near me well I did but both stores one including Petsmart what they had was past the expiration date one was 4 years out
and the other by 6 months. I have no problem buying it on the Internet. Just wondering if there is anything else out there that might be better to use since the how the hobby has come along way in 13 years.

I have had good luck with Topfin Tropical Flakes in the past when I kept Blackskirts but then again any fresh flake fish food fed in correct amounts seems like would be OK. I'm sure before long you will get more responses , there's alot of knowledge to be had here ,so just hang in there and it will come.
ask ?'s and change some water
pair of JD's and loving it.

If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

Could also do live foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworms as a treat.
Always fun to watch fish react to live foods and hunt/forage for them.

I've found most tetras to be very easy to feed. Simple flake like tetramin go down well. A small slow sinking pellet is equally well accepted. Mix that with the occasional batch of live food and they'll do fine.

I feed my neons and cardinals flake food. Once or twice a week they receive frozen blood worm or brine shrimp. They love the frozen stuff.
