Moss Maintenance
I've got some lovely moss growing in my tank that I've been breaking up and tying with thread to the tips and joints of my tangled bogwood. It looks pretty good and is starting to grow out some finger-like extensions which look nice.
Will they keep growing or will the moss start to spread, does anyone know? I think the variety I have is Christmas Moss.
Any tips on maintenance would be great.

You can grow a carpet with Christmas moss, but only if YOU want to. Just trim it down to the size you want when it gets out of control and you should be fine.

Christmas moss is lovely and will spread if it grows well.

Ah yes, thanks Lady Hobbs.
Thanks everyone else, that's helpful. I didn't know carpet was possible with this moss...great for any future projects! I only have coral sand in this tank at the moment so won't happen in my current tank.
