I really like almost every event. I've been watching as much as I can. I love the competition between international athletes so I can get into pretty much anything. I'll root for the USA athletes but I've really been pulling for Missy Franklin and Phelps.

I have been watching, just because I am at home and can have the TV on for part of the day.
I dunno what my favourites are...probably fencing, but they either never show it or I miss it...I like the equestrian...don't mind the men's gymnastics...and I like the 100, 400 etc. men's racing.
And for some reason I don't quite understand...I'm intrigued by weigh-lifting...
...and I agree...lots of ugly outfits this time around...I like China's though...love the dragon and the colours...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

I was watching basketball today and the announcer said "good ball movement." I thought he said good bowel movement.

I'm absolutely loving the Olympics. Watching it all day!
I've been to two events so far, the Equestrian Eventing (Cross Country Day), and the Table Tennis. Still hunting for more elusive tickets as I type this.
Come on Team GB!

Well the Brits have certainly done a wonderful job. The opening ceremony was breathtaking and everything seems to be going by clockwork.

Yeah, so far, so good (and we just clinched another gold in dressage...which is unheard of for us).
The opening ceremony was surprisingly good (I normally hate them)...if a little quirky. I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure international viewers would quite get all the references though...a bit bemusing?

I just wish women would not cry so much! And about so much!
I hate that they bawl about every event they lose.
I know the gold is the greatest honor but really, how can being the "second best" in the world be a bad thing? Very emontional and stressful most likely.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••
