    I have never mastered the turkey baster...lol

    I came up with something that is working to some degree....you know how you can buy the little squirt bottles at Walmart that are empty when you buy them? Well they have a small rigid straw inside them that the water gets sucked up with. I attached that to some airline tubing and it works okay. :)

    I've just used a little smaller version of a syphon as Cliff showed and the occassional fry that get sucked up make it just fine into the bucket where they are netted and returned to the tank.

    Maybe use a normal gravel vac, one that is very small, but add a little bit of screen material over the end with a zip tie or string around it?
