Thread: Safe Ornaments?

  1. Default Safe Ornaments?

Recently at a halloween store, I saw a few small ornaments that reminded me of the same looking material in the stuff you see for aquariums at PetSmart. Only 1/10'th the price.

I'm wondering, if it looks like these would be safe for aquariums? I'm a bit worried if any chemicals leach off, is this a real concern?

Absolutely, No telling what was used on them.

William, What decade will all that 'hit-n-run crapola spam' be deleted from 'Buy & sell'?

Just a thought here, would there be a sealer that could be put on them? Like a krylon fusion clear coat that could just be sprays on to make them work?

Krylon Fusion has been deemed aquarium safe, but is that only when sprayed onto certain materials?
