I don't know about the rest but I've lost track of your issue/challenge/question. Oh, and please don't take this the wrong way, it's meant as a constructive suggestion but your posts would be easier to read if you'd form sentences starting with a capital letter and ending with a .
How about a new post trying to state what you have now and what you want to do? A few pics if the tank is already set up. I'm getting the impression you're having problems making up your mind.

That test kit should be ok. I know Sera, it's good stuff. The other problem is one of my friends gave mea angelfish his pair is in the beginning of the mating stage and becomeing more aggresive as they set up in his 50g us.

The angle.. read up on it. You need a tall tank with a bit of swimming space. What the Americans call a 20 high. In metric, I'd say preferable a meter wide and 40cm high.
Angles can get aggressive and nasty towards other fish. They are also not a good idea with fin nippers like tiger barbs. Question is, do you want one fish to influence your other choices?

fish
an angel is one fish i always wanted to keep and i will be upgrading my tank early next year. I can't really get rid of the angel, the other fish i would love to keep is the red tailed shark will just have to hold off till i get a bigger tank to fit them in. I was thinking of getting some peppered cories for the bottom.
any ideas will be welcome.
the tank i will be getting next year is 120 long width 45 height 45
if i add amonnia less than five hours its gone, thats a dose of 4 ppmLast edited by coarb34; 08-07-2012 at 09:22 AM.

If you want an angel then go for it. The tank that you want next year is certainly big enough.
No idea on the shark though.
It sounds like your cycle is done.

The ammonia is getting consumed it sounds like. Thats good. What about your nitrIte tho? I still don't see a reading for it in your params. Not no3 or nitrAte, but nitrIte. I'd agree that it sounds like you are prob cycled, but you should check the nitrite just to be sure the second stage of the cycle is working.
As far as how to keep the angel and rts happy till your tank upgrade someone else will have to answer. I've never owned either. All I know is they can both be aggressive so keep a close eye on them."A grain of sand is all I ever wanted to be. Lay me down and let the water wash over me, wash over me." -Mickey Newbury
