Here is the plan for the tank so far plese give me feedback

1x albino senegalus bichir [already in there]
    1x senegalus bichir
    1x longfin senegalus bichir
    1x ornate bichir [already ordered]
    1x endlicheri bichir [already ordered]

    1x striped Raphael
    1x banjo catfish

    1x fire eel
    1x ropefish
    1x tire track eel
    1x zig zag eel
    1x tulip eel

1x spotted sailfin pleco [already in there]

I know the 1st thing you are going to say is 55 gal isn't enough and I fully agree. 1st I have to track each of these guys down and it may take a while. 2nd I plan on getting a much bigger tank [100-200 gal] even if I have to make it my self so they will have a bigger tank for them.

Best Advice - don't get fish unless you have their requirements already.

I'm no expert on bichirs so not gona comment. I will say that your tank isn't big enough for all those eels.
    My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

the main reason why I listed all those eels is that some are hard to find at the LFS in my area primarily because of all the big box pet stores. In fact there is only 1 within 10 miles and they have had to scale back hours to just weekends. I only plan on getting a couple of the eels for this tank. The main thing that has stopped me from buying more tanks right now is the fact I'm moving soon or I would of gotten a couple more already to setup proper breeding colonies for my bristlenose.

The main thing I'm worried about is the bichirs eating the catfish also the growth rate of the bichirs vs the eels

That's way too much fish for a 55G even though you only have one of each specie.

Further research is really needed. Can't say much either.
Da name's Paul. Not Dave. ROFL

Learn to give and take. That's how things should always work.

I don't know why anyone would want so many bottom feeders in a tank. I see a lot of squabbling over food and territories.

The main reason for all the bottom dwellers is all the oddball predators I know of are all bottom dwellers. I think I've decided to do my albino, an ornate, a saddle along with a fire eel and then wait for the rest of the eels until I get another large aquarium and make it an eel tank. For my bichir tank I would like a middle or top swimmer but don't know of any that will live peacefully with the bichirs but still be cool looking. I would like a couple cats but as you said thats alot of bottom dwellers
