Eel and dragon goby
In case anyone is ever wondering, the two do not mix. Even if the dragon goby is just as big as the eel. It will inevitably wander into the eels turf, and the eel will proceed to tear its entire face off.
Anyone want an eel?Who is "General Failure" and why is he reading my hard drive?

Did you video feeding time for your eel then?

Not at all. Came home to a dragon goby with his entire bottom jaw torn off. He was still alive.

Sorry for the late reply, yes I put it down. Right now working on setting up a 75G for just the puffer and eel, as I will not dedicate an entire 225G tank to two fish because they don't play well with others.

I had a dragon goby with my eel for a long while, they did fine together. Even stayed in the same cave together! I guess it just depends on their temperament. :(

sorry to hear, ya dragon gobies will not even harm fry unless they are hungry but gtiles can be a gamble. However, if you want to keep the eel in the large thank then there are plenty of options for you. As for bottom dwellers I think only the Columbian catfish or target fish will work but both are very neat fish. Plenty of other people keep scats, puffers, monos, dats and archers with their eels. (check monster fish keepers for examples)
Unfortunatly options for brackish fish are limited compared to fresh and salt water so you would certainly have more options for the 225 if you kept the puffer and gtile in your 75g.
