How cute. I used to have desert tortoises when I was a child, one would sit under our apricot tree and eat the apricots that fell all summer.
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Smaug, you're here a lot just to say it's a waste of your time, poor baby, I bet you don't even know how big a loser you are, and how much we laugh at you and your foolish attempt to give your life meaning. Quit drinking, get a life, go take care of your family, grow up!

In the US, what's the difference between a turtle and a tortoise?
Here in the UK a turtle is the aquatic, swimming version, e.g. leatherback or green turtle. A tortoise is a walking, dry land version, e.g. galapagos or box tortoise.
In the US can they be either?
Strange.

Aw, that's cute! One good thing about being a young turtle or tortoise is that your parents can't get mad with you for taking too long at the dinner table!
... Or do they still have arguements?
Momma turtle/tortoise: "C'mon Junior, eat your Raspberry."
Junior: "But I'm getting full!"
Momma: I only gave you one Rasberry. You can't possibly be full."
Junior: "But I'm only little, and I'm going as fast as I can!.. Besides.. Who came up with this day and a half time limit for dinner?"
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
