gonna try this lil puppy, see if i can make a in-tank refugium for the 20g high! i have a spare 1g acrylic. put some live sand in and some small LR pieces, ad im done!

Thought that in-tank they sell would be the perfect size you need. I've been using cpr stuff for years.

...a refugium is generally an area of your sump that you use to grow out frags, house extra macroalgae, such as chaeto, put an injured fish into, put a crabby (heh heh) fish into...grow 'pods' for food (copepods, isopods)...it adds to your total water volume too...which is a good thing...

a refugium is a spare tank on the outside about 2g-5g. it has water pumping from the main tank. you use it for damaged corals, new fish that are scared, acclimating fish, and fish that are beat up.
