    @ es31710 - Thank you for the suggestion. I will definitely research the Bulldog Pleco further.

    However, I do have several questions concerning this specific Pleco. 1) I read a lot of articles stating that schooling fish need to be kept in schools of no less than 6 specimens, but the consensus among hobbiest appears to be no less than 10 specimens of a schooling species. Is that the case concerning the Bulldog Pleco? 2) Would I have enough space in my aquarium for a combined total of 50-54 bottom dwellers?

    The bulldog pleco I would not say is a shoaling fish per say but they really should be kept in groups of 3 or more; in that tank I would say 6 so they do not feel out of sorts. I would say that is pushing it I would take away something.
