Help Identify New Fish
We recently aquired a couple of new fish by way of some jerks pulling a practical joke and dumping a dozen or more fish in the local pool. I was able to save 2 of em. I have no clue what type of fish they are however, and therefore dont know if they have different temperments or feeding habits. Any help identifying these poor guys would be seriously appreciated. :D

Sorry. Didnt think about that. lets try this then:

and yes. it was very cruel. massive damage. I am actually pretty surprised that any of them lived, but the two that made it survived for the last 24 hours.

They look like just feeder goldfish to me. Probably why the idiots used them, they're cheap. They get to be like a foot long, I hate to say it but honestly after that much chlorine damage its probably best just to put em down. I imagine their eyes and gills will have massive scaring.

That was what I was assuming, but I wanted to be sure. As for the putting down...I can imagine that they are in some pain, and yes there is almost guarenteed to be some scarring, but I don't have the heart to kill a spider, alone a fish. All I can do is provide a safe environment, some companionship, and a happy place for them to live out their lives.

Poor things. I hope they recover enough to enjoy their TLC. If not, I hear that clove oil or freezing is a gentle end.
