quick question
My tank is one week into fish cycle and today I noticed on my drift wood a small cotton looking white stuff growing lol. Heat and air stones 80 degree to be exact. is this good or bad?

You can get some of that on drift sometimes. Keep eye on it...

I think I read the term for that here: "driftwood snot."
I have two pieces of wood in my betta tank, and they were all over fuzzy & grey. I recently added a mystery snail who cleared it up completely in a few days!.
