Newbie looking for some kind advice

Hi,

I would just like to thank the kind members who took time to reply and help me start my first aquarium.

I am pleased to say, based on test results for the last couple of days, that I believe my cycle to be complete and have now purchased and introduced my first aquarium fish! (35 x Neon Tetras) . I did read mixed reviews for introducing them first into a newly cycled tank but they are the only fish i'm 100% certain on. I'll slowly research and add others in time.

I used the recommended drip acclimation method on the site and transferred to the tank after 2 hours. All currently seem happy. Lights will remain off for a day or two.

I'll continue to monitor my values daily for the next 7 days and perform water changes should anything show up.

Anyway, after 28 days and not a single drop of ammonia added my magic ADA soil seems to have done the job.

35 neons.. I must admit I'm a bit envious, would like to have a tank that size. Always nice to see a succesfull cycle and someone ready to enjoy a fresh tank
