A $15,000 Gar for Demjor19 to drool over.. lol
Was just surfing Bluegrass aquatics and saw this. I don't think I have ever seen a fish quite this expensive before
This farm is about an hour from house, im tempted to ask if I can give them $10 just to look at it for a few minutes

If that fish is really as rare as the link says then they are doing a disservice to the species. They should either have released it upon catching it, or they should make an attempt to sell it to someone who already has one.

sounds like it's a very rare color morph rather than an endangered species or something, like catching a blue lobster. If that's the case they're not helping or hurting the species by catching and selling one specimen.
300 gallon mega tank: build in progress
75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
29 gallon frog tank / 10 gallon tadpole tank: 1 leopard frog, 1 tadpole
10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails

yes, it's a rare colour morph. not worth 15k IMO, but a nice fish nonetheless. extremely rare to find them in the wild because they would have been easy prey when small.
