Woa, crazy. Never seen a giant hill right in the middle... is that just a huge pile of the substrate? (must be, otherwise the substrate would just slip down the side, I would think)
I'm curious how that's holding up, have the rocks moved around? an updated pic might be cool.

its actually quite common. And you apparently put rocks down and cover it with stubstrate and put in cardboard peices to make sure it doesn't fall.Its Phillip, not Origami.

LOL, I always try to make big hills in the back but my fish dig, and dig, and...yeah.

Yep that is my problem now the betta feels that the anacharis bushes need to be rearranged -_- Thanks for the compliments I think I am switching to black gravel tomorrow. I need to redo the tank haha.

Thanks Philip, that makes more sense that just a huge pile. Doing it that way you could kind of sculpt the hill... hmm, I'm intrigued, I've seen a lot of tanks and I can't believe this is the first time I've seen this.
How does the cardboard not break down? Maybe it's just that the water doesn't get to it...?

cardboard doesn't seem too. I don't know.

Ya well it also depends what kind of plants you have it was not working for me so I tore the tank down and redid it again.... I never can get it right. I will post a new pic.
