Hey, hey! Just went through and got caught up on what I've missed. I'm loving your new fish, well they were new. I can't believe you went through Ick again! Pesky stuff.

I'm really digging the Sev, and congrats on 2nd place this month!

    thanks, Mandy. appreciate it.
The 2 sevs are getting along fine so far - but then they are still juveniles - although both are solid 4 inches nose to tail. I'm watching them closely and hoping I won't have to rehome one due to fighting as they grow larger.

It's been a while since I posted a video of my 90 gallon so I thought I'd share the one I took yesterday right after I cleaned the tank from top to bottom. As those of you who've been following my journal will see, the blood parrots have really grown! Well, so have the sevs and the angel and the jurupari who is the star of the tank IMO. This guy is gorgeous (the video doesn't do his colors and markings justice. all those little spots glows an iridescent blue. As you can see, he's also a camera hog. The congos color is stunning - again, they don't show well on the video.
The lone dwarf gourami (my first fish) thinks he's the king of the tank. Mostly the other fish ignore him but he doesn't seem to notice. I've got 5 sword tails in the tank and those guys are algae eating machines. That leggy driftwood used to always have a thin blanket of green algae on it which I kind of liked because it gave the tank an earthy feel, but with the wags in there, I'll never see green again.
My only continuing issue are diatoms. I've started reducing the light 2 hours a day and 2 weeks ago I started using chemi pure. So far, it's not doing the trick but I understand it's a process and am hopeful that I'll get it licked very soon.

Nice video, glad to see the update. Some of your fish have realy grown.

I like the look of your tank

How long have you had your congos ?
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Thanks Cliff. I set the tank up in mid Sept and got the 7 congos mid Oct. All males. All really good sized when I bought them. Haven't seen any of that size since. Their colors are stunning and the black and white tips on their caudal fins are really cool. these guys look just like the best photos you'll see on line showcasing congos so I'm thrilled with them.

Beautiful, per usual, Cindy! Love your tank. Haha, I was watching the DG in the background. Seems like he doesn't mind being one of the small fries. Gotta' love their strong character.

I don't think I've seen a Jurupari, save for you in your tank. They're magnificent... Wish I could see it in person to see the blue color. Also, I love your Sevs... so beautiful. Are they still getting along? I know you were worried about that a while back.
