We have babies!!!! (video)
Super excited. My Neolamprologus caudopunctatus paired up! They have been acting like it for awhile but I didn't really think they would, they are nasty fish. Really good parents, this is in a slightly overstocked Tang community and I haven't seen a single fry get snatched yet, even by the Calvus. They OWN that side of the tank and ain't nobody going over there lol. Not sure what im going to do. I really like the idea of breeding these guys, they are stunning fish and not very common, the mom won POTM
The tank really is overstocked now with everyone else booted to one side, I may rehome all the other fish and just let these two breed, don't know yet lol. Video of the fry:
And as a reminder the pic of the mom

Wow congrats!
I love the video. Every time another fish comes over the mom and dad are like "RAAWWWRRR!" I could watch that all day. How are you going to get any work done now?~Manna

I just love your tank and the shells at the bottom. I wish I could stretch my 10 gallon so I could have these little fish but unfortunately, it can't be done.

Neat looking fish. Congratulations on the fry!
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Smaug, you're here a lot just to say it's a waste of your time, poor baby, I bet you don't even know how big a loser you are, and how much we laugh at you and your foolish attempt to give your life meaning. Quit drinking, get a life, go take care of your family, grow up!

I've noticed that people HATE it when you point out how stupid they are, so now I try to do it politely.

You could do shellies in a 10, not these particular ones but you could easily have a community of Lamprologus ocellatus. There are a few different color morphs and none get much bigger than a Cardinal Tetra. Great fish for a 10. Hell I have 3 left that are going to need re-homing id send ya.

As a matter of fact, I liked my idea enough I just did that very thing. now that my plants have grown high in my 30 I moved my killies out of the 10 and redid the 10 just for my little goldies. They're having quite a bit of fun bickering over the "new" shells lol.
So Lady, go for it! lol
