best glue for holding wood under water?
I saw a picture that inspired me a little for a large tank ornament and I am wondering what sort of glue would be most appropriate. I want to glue popsicle stick sized pieces of wood together and I need it to hold together for long time to make the effort worth it.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Any cyanoacrylate glue will work. Superglue for instance.
Be sure that the wood you are using is aquarium safe. Popsicle sticks for instance will decompose fairly quickly once waterlogged.

Gorilla glue, fully cured, or as mentioned super glue.
The gel super glue works better for things like wood.

You'll need to use sticks of some kind of hardwood or it will rot very fast.
8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

Yeah.. don't know how it is over there but over here those sticks are usually beech. Not exactly long lasting material. I'd use aquarium silicon though, sticks extremely well

That is definately different but rather cute. I would be careful to close up any openings, however, so fish would not be getting stuck inside. But if you look at it closely, it appears to me to be constructed outside of the tank, not inside.
