Thanks Westbeef
But to be honest with you, I did not put any more effort into this set-up as compared to my 90 fresh water planted tank, with the exception of setting up the equipment before filling the tank with waterIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I was cleaning the sump when I found the last thing that I wanted to see, a crack in the sump. It went from the bulkhead flange to the side of the tank. Judging by the salt creep on it, it has been leaking for about 1 to 2 weeks. I patched it with a pc of glass and enough silicone to chock a elephant. Hopefully it will last for another 3 weeks or so until I can replace it. I’m going to order a ready to go sump from our SW LFS.

But on the brighter side, I did finish re-curing the rest of my live rock and I added it to the tank. As I’ve ordered another carpet anemone, I am going to create another spot for him.

Wow, that looks excellent. What tangs do you have again? I don't really know SW species but regal tang and lipstick tang? Think I saw them on that dreadful programme, "Tanked".

For tangs I have: a yellow mimic tang, a hippo or regal tang, and a blond naso tang. I had a power brown but he was getting to aggressive so I sold him. I managed to get a full tank shot while they were all hanging out by the red carpet anemone.

Just spent a the last hour E-mailing back and fourth with the owner of our SW LFS to get a new sump on order. So far the below is what he will be sending to his sump manufacture in the morning. The sump will be just a little over 100 gallons in size, but with only 72 gallons in it while in operation which leave about 30 gallon for drainback from the tank should there be a power failure. That works out pretty good as I only need about 20 gallons for drainback.

Awesome setup! I was reading back a few pages and the TV above the aquarium is cool!
I can't wait to see pictures of your sump build. I like the design. Will you use any filter pads with it?300g + 240g in wall build! - Follow Here

Thanks guys
glarior: I have not decided if I will use any sponges yet. I will be using filter socks on the intake to help polish the water. As long as there are no micro bubbles making it into the last compartment of the sump, I don't think I will be adding any sponges. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
