I used to feed mine all the time. I have a coral banded shrimp now and I hand feed him, he has bigger pinchers then a cleaner and you dont even feel anything but a little tickle lol.

When I kept shrimp I would feed them flakes using a pair of tweezers. It seemed to work really well for me
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

They are shrimp,if you are feeding the tank then you are feeding them. They do a much better job of keeping the tank clean if they have to actually look for food. And yes,you could hand feed them, all my shrimp rush to my hand when I dropper feed the corals.

My cleaner that I used to have would come clean my hand if I put it in, and he'd do that with everyone else too. It feels quite odd, and is very amusing to watch, particularly if you've somehow managed to get fish food under your fingernails.
