my little pond
Dug this in 2009, it's about 140 centimeters long and 80 wide. Deepest area is about 75cm and nice and mucky in that area to allow things to survive in the -20 we sometimes get here. No filters or pumps. No fish but it attracts frogs and newts and birds bathe in the shallow end. Hardly any algae except some stringy stuff.

Wee being the right word. Does the job though, provides a welcome source of water to birds and amphibians.

Very nice pond - plants are very well done
Knowledge is fun(damental)
A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is fifteen Sterba's Corys. Filters: canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber that removes phosphates and nitrates! Also, a highly dangerous commercial nitrate removal unit from hell
