Ahhhh, well that just exposes my lack of latin knowledge!
I have him in a 10 gallon tank now with an established piece of driftwood and artificial plant. 12" bubble wand and Aquaclear 30 HOB filter. I guess I'll have to upgrade the tank soon. He is about 1.5" long. My wife is saying "I know you hate goldfish but he'll be dead in a few days". I DON'T THINK SO!
I mean, I don't want to keep goldfish, but I'll be darned if I will just let this critter die.
So, the 10 gallon for a while to see if he does well then I'll just add maybe a 55 gallon tank to the masses and keep goldfish. Darnit.
(feel free to add expletives throughout this DARN post. I am SO upset about this!)8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

Hey, I appreciate the education. I am sitting here at the computer looking at this little goldfish hating him. Loving him. Hating him.
