Question Fenale Guppy +stored sperm= multipule batches of Fry

    0 Not allowed!
    Hello Fellow Fish Lovers;
I have checked different information for my answer, but I am either not getting it or I am missing it.
Here is some background....My virgin female Guppy was a mated with a choise male#1 . When she was odviously pregnant I removed the male#1 to another tank.
Alone, 21 days later, she gave birth . Shortly there after the Fry were moved to the nursery.
Now she is alone. Can she continue to have more Fry with the stored sperm?
Could she be having another batch in 21 days. And then more again? Could she continue have batches of Fry until the stored sperm is gone?
And what would happen if I introduced another male#2 in say four months time. Would the male#2 be the father of the next batch or the stored sperm of male#1?
I hope my question isn't to confusing. Answers Much Appreciated! Thank You!

They can keep having fry for quite a while after the males are removed. More than one batch.

Most live bearing female fish can store sperm for at least six month and some have been known to give birth up to a year after mating.

Fish breeders separate positively female fry at six to eight weeks, to prevent un-expected breeding.

Some one told me guppies are the devils fish.

The first batch is of 6 fry.

They increase in multiples of 6.

The female can store enough sperm for 6 batches.

The maximum number of fry a guppy can have is 60.

She can get pregnant at 6 weeks.

I'm not sure if all of that is true but the old guy who was preaching it had a lot of nice guppies.

Thanks a lot, Indian Woods Angels, as that pretty much says it all in pretty simple terms. I will batten down the hatches for the impending broods of fry.

    Thanks Everyone!

Third batch was 27 days later =100 fry

Fourth batch was 30 days later =100 fry

Fifth batch was was a bit longer at 37 days =100 fry

and then she stopped after that....

It turned out to be a good experience. I bought a leopard bushfish to eat the extra, and he turned out to be an amazing hunter. Fun to watch. The male guppies I raised to be sold at my local pet store.
