Centerpiece Fish for 20gal. ?
I have a 20 gallon tall.
10 black skirt tetras
1 Albino Bristlenose Pleco( picking it up tonight)
Ph 7.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
Temp 78deg F
I want to have one or a pair of some kind of centerpiece fish. I am looking for something that can handle the black skirts feeding frenzy and bullying. This fish will be the final addition to the tank. Any suggestions????Roll the Dice!

20 talls can be hard to find good options for, is it the 20" or the 24" size? Maybe pair of your favorite ram?

I never had any bullying with my black skirts but I had a school of over 20. I think, myself, that no centerpiece fish should be in small tanks. I think those sized tanks should be left to the small schooling variety.

20 gal 24L x 12W x 16H.
I do love rams. I have a pair of german blue in my 30 gal
. I dont know how they would react with the black skirts. They are a very roudy bunch. My girlfriend has nicknamed them The L.A Pod after a group of killer whales of the coast of California that hunt great white sharks lol.
Do you think electric blue rams would hold their own againts the black skirts?Roll the Dice!
