Need crystal clear water QUICK!
Hey everyone, I was on here last week regarding a simple leaking carbon problem. I am using my fish tank for a photoshoot and it will have peoples heads going in and out of it. Nothing else will be in the tank. I have a 70 gallon tank with an Aquaclear 70 filter.
I was getting cloudy water for the past two days so I took the water out. Right now the tank doesn't have any water in it. It sounds like the source of the cloudy/dirty water could of been from the bacterial bloom.
Any ideas or suggestions on keeping the water as clear as possible for the photoshoot tomorrow?
Thanks!

Make sure the tank is spotless and free of particulate matter and use RO water [Less total dissolved solids] Is my suggestion.
There may be others, Good luck.

You are not keeping fish, there is no need to cycle or mature the tank, why not just remove the water, wipe the sides and refill as needed?
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Thats what I was planning to do. Will the filter even be needed?

If all you are doing is having people stick their face in the tank so you can take a picture I see no need for a filter. Unless it's part of the picture or theme.

Your call, You could use one strictly for mechanical filtration for a bit if you wish and then take it off for the pics so it's not aerating the water [If it is a HOB].
Please post the pics here though, [If family friendly] It would be cool to check them out.

Agree with just empty and refill. It should stay clean because the new water will have it's light dose of chlorine for a few hours or so. You may have to wipe out some bubbles though.
