Question New Floating Plants, I.D help

    0 Not allowed!
I took a chance and ordered some plants off of the internet, I had never done this before and was iffy on whether to go for it or not. So they e.mailed me saying my order had been dispatched on the monday and I recieved them today. Great looking, healthy and just what I ordered.

The package was 10 plants, over 3 species and all were floaters. Packaging included the total order was just over 10, was worth the gamble. Since it was a package they didn't include individual species, so this is where all you experts come in!! Have a look and see if anyone knows what any are.

Firstly a shot of the 3 species (regular table knife for scale0

    Species 1:

    Species 2:

    Species 3:

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated,

    Regards, ScottishFish

Brazilian Pennywort is the lilly pad looking one. [96% sure, But there's a few things that look quite like it]

    I love that stuff! .

It eats 'Trates, Is practically indestructible and needs no fussing with, What's not to like!

All you do is pull some out and give or throw it away every so often lol.

I don't know the other one sorry.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

Looks very similar, however mines have totally rounded edges and not as defined 'sections' per leaf. I do think you close to it though, or maybe I just have young plants cheers for getting me started somewhere

Now that the knife has been positively identified, I think the other one is a salvinia natans.

If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

Those are cool. They look like some fishing line and a suction cup could be used to keep the filters from throwing them all over the place, too. The only downside of floaters in my experience.

I also think the one is Penny Wort and perhaps the other is Red Root Floater? Not sure.
