@seb'sfish
Thanks, yeah I've been thinking of upping the peppered cory numbers to 6 to match the sterbai cories. I might also get a few more cherry barbs as out of the 18, only 6 are female. Ideally I'd get another 4 or 5 females.
@steeler1
Thank you, yes I entered in the August competition and won it! I was delighted

I'd just joined and was finding by way around the forum so I did not see that. Belated congratulations.

I went to "Aquatics Live!" today in London and came home with 8 new plants. I got:
2 x Posgostemon helferi
2 x Alternanthera rosaefolia mini
2 x Lobelia cardinalis dwarf
2 x unknown (possibly a Bacopa of some sort)
I'm hoping the cories don't uproot it all now...they have a habit of doing that to the more delicate things in the tank.
Here's the Posgostemon helferi. I don't expect this to do particularly well as it's a medium light demanding plant (and my lights are poor), but we'll see.

Here's the Lobelia cardinalis dwarf - it looks quite a nice stem plant.

And a little forest of Alternanthera rosaefolia mini, mixed in with some sickly Alternanthera reinecki pink (threw out the older stems).

And this is the one that didn't have a label. I think it's a bacopa of some sort but perhaps the experts here can confirm?

I did a bit of a minor rescape on the tank. The "tree" was annoying me as it's in the way, I never intended it for this tank, so I took it apart and fixed the anubias to the main wood where nothing was really growing. I pulled out some old Alternanthera and planted all the new stuff.
Here's the full tank shot.

The left view.

The right view - with the anubias stuffed in between the tangled roots of the wood.

I'm pretty happy with it. I might just get a few more vals for the back.

Cheers!
It's a really useful record of what I've done with it.
I've still plans to do more. I keep thinking, "that's it now", but it only lasts 5 minutes before I get another idea!
