These things are tough
I’m used to finding the odd aiptasia in my 90 gallon every month or so. I usually let it grow a little and then get rid of it with some aiptasia destroyer. I got them from the live rock that I used for this set-up as I did not cure the rock before putting it in the tank.
This is the first time I have seen one growing on anything but the rocks. I did not think they would grow on a skimmer pump, but that’s where I found one when I went to move a few things around in the sump.
At least this one will be easy to get rid of
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

LOL, I would not call that luck Aeonflame. If you did set-up a reef tank I know it would be fantastic.
But I am lucky that I only get one or two per month. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

When I run out of the aiptasia destroyer, I'll give that a try
I have to stop buying that stuff anyways as 3/4 of it usally goes bad before I can use it all
Thanks CrispyIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

one thing I learned about aiptasia is that they actually can move around the tank. I thought I killed one, but turned out it moved behind a rock and thought I wouldn't see it. hehe, got it though.
