  1. Default Any one else google at the fish store?

It never fails, it doesn't matter how much I research and prepare, there's always something at the fish store that either I didn't think to look up, or looks way better in person than online so I didn't bother to look it up. The good fish store is an hour away so inevitably I end up pulling out the phone and googling fish compatibility in public. I know I must look like an ass walking around staring at my phone and ignoring all the workers, but I gotta have my facts right I can't tell you how many times an in store google has saved me from making a mistake, most recently almost buying a Synodontis I thought was a dwarf that actually got over a foot.

Thats what I do a lot. Helps. Certainly. I find it more private to go back to the greenhouses though. No one is interested in plants

I do it all the time. One store I go to changes out what it gets a lot so I like to look them up when I am there ( even though we are buying no new fish other than replacement right now).

Same here. What sucks though if my brother forgets his phone. My phone doesn't have internet because i never needed it, until i got into fishkeeping. Lol

What I do then, i just list the names of the fish and research when i get back home.

Always do it. The worst is, as your searching your phone dies -_- Then you have to go back home look whatever you need to look up. Figure out it works in your tank and then go back.

I have googled at the fish store a few times. Sadly though it seems the two good lfs I frequent in my city don't really get anything worth googling anymore.
When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

I do it frequently, google and the AC fish database have saved me quite a bit of hassle on several occassions!
    My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

I do it all the time and it has saved me a few times. Unfortunately my connection is so bad inside the building that it takes 10x longer than it would if I was outside with a good connection but I'm always too lazy to go outside to do it instead of just looking at the fish with a bad connection.

All the time. Sometimes I see a species I'm not familiar with and I check its requirements before I consider buying.

my phone has no reception at the fish store I use.

Thankfully the owner is really friendly and lets me use his computer in his office!

I've even used it to do stuff on the site of the fish club I run ;)
Used to try and keep track of my fish here.....

Ran out of room and time!!!

Instead I'll tell you the best piece of fishkeeping equipment ever....... Algae Scrubber :)
