Yes, for me as well. I'm planning on riding it out till the end.
Anyway, I'll try to up my school again, yes. I'd like at least 30 of them. If the GBR's do well that MAY be all I do. I don't want to crowd anyone out, and I've wanted GBR's since the beginning. They would be my top priority.130g: 7 Angelfish, 1 Bolivian, 17 Neon Tetras, 14 Serpae Tetras, 9 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Otocinslus, ? Ghost Shrimp

It's the wife's thing. I vote in every election but don't get into but she supports this hobby sooo.
I once had 125 tetras, rasboras, barbs and cories in a 55 and they did alright without the tecnology we have now. I had an undergravel filter at that time.
Your fish don't produce much waste (good on you for avoiding livebearers and goldfish like alot of new people), so you should be good with with expanding your Neons and getting rams. Your Tank is bigger than you think.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Well, I'm glad you're supporting her on it. My husband is out cold, but in his defense he does have to work tomorrow.
I guess I'm just afraid that it would look like chaos in there with so many fish. Whatever I do, I'll be doing it quite slowly.130g: 7 Angelfish, 1 Bolivian, 17 Neon Tetras, 14 Serpae Tetras, 9 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Otocinslus, ? Ghost Shrimp

Yeah but your keeping less spieces with bigger schools so good on you.
Your right, that tank I had was pretty much helter skelter. Took me a few years to learn that keeping 4-6 spieces instead of six of this and 10 of that ect; looked good. My problem was when I moved to the big city and I had so many choices; I tried to cram every Tetra I saw into that tank LOL, going on in those days that 6 made a school.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Hey everybody!
I've got a good update for you today.
Fish numbers are back to being stable with no more casualties. I really have no explanation as to why I lost so many Neons one after the other. Water quality has remained pretty close to perfect. I HAVE had a little bit of a come back with blue green algae, but I think I've got it back under control.
Now, just because the loach pictures seemed to be so popular last time I took another one for kicks.
Yes.... that is cat hair stuck to the tank... Lol! My cats like to sit on the ledge against the tank. They have no interest in even looking at the fish, just sucking up the warmth I guess.
Now for the big one. INTRODUCING ----- DUN DUN DUN ----
My Girls!
Two beautiful female German Blue Rams! I've had these ladies close to a week and I'm loving them. When I saw them at the LFS I actually thought about not getting them, because they looked so dull. Since they've been home the difference in their color is crazy! They looked like regular green, slightly striped minows at the store, but as you can see.... BOOM! Beauty!130g: 7 Angelfish, 1 Bolivian, 17 Neon Tetras, 14 Serpae Tetras, 9 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Otocinslus, ? Ghost Shrimp
