So i just wanted to thank everyone who has helped me over the last few months. Going from a bowl to a 10 gallon with no knowledge of aquariums was hard enough. Ill say this Using this website for help my tank is finally starting to come alive
i just did a check on all my levels. I used this online card someone suggested http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Downloads.html I did a 50% water change 45% distilled and 65% tap when changing my water.
    PH was 8.2
    PH now is 8.0
Ammonia is less then 0.25 just not quite 0. I think next week when i clean my media and stop feeding so much that will go away.
    Nitrite is 0ppm
and my Nitrate which has been the BIGGEST pain in my ass because my tap has 10-15ppm has gone from 20/40ppm constant no matter how many changes i do to 10ppm on the dot which im happy for. So thank you everyone for helping me. I appreciate it. All that is left is getting my wisteria healthy and some moss in there and im set.

Cleaning you media won't make the ammonia go away, cycling will. :)
