That is an amazing gun, I sold mine a few months ago and bought a rifle. I'm not sure if it'll be a good hunting gun other then bears. In Alaska you can legally hunt bears with it and I used mine in the mountains as a personal defense gun randomly

Ciff: I did figure small canons wouldn't be easy on 'em...
And I was surprised that some of these products can handle .50...

Just a quick update on this thread. I never ended up getting the 44 Magnum Raging Bull. Some things came up, so it got postponed.
On the other hand...My 454 Casull Raging Bull should be here Friday!!! I ordered it last friday. At $2 a shot, this will be mostly for hunting only. Although i can shoot the 45 Colt round out of it...Which is much less powerful and much cheaper.
I'll post pics when it arrives!-Jordan

I sold my .44 redhawk to a guy upstate who wanted it for bear; never fired a Casull and sounds like noisy fun
