I wouldn't consider it a useless talent. You can put food on the table and defend yourself...Not useless at all.

You're right...but I won't kill for food...I prefer my meat neatly wrapped and presented in the grocery store coolers...
However, when the Zombies get here...I'm good to go...

LOL. My 18 year old son is convinced a Zombie invasion will be coming soon.

Another good one is the Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag. It's gonna cost a little more, though.

yup, I have a 5 1/2" stainless redhawk .44 but doesn't get shot enough. Ammo is pricey, generally $30-$50 a box of 50 rounds. I bought a .44 mag lever Marlin a couple years ago and it's a blast to shoot. Still rather shoot .22 & 9mm at the range, a little less traumatic

I took the test...and my new licence is in the mail.
I'm off to the rifle range when it gets here...anyone wanna come with me? I'm rusty...haven't shot anything for a good 10 years.
Those paper targets are likely quite safe...
BTW...anyone ever use those hard plastic 'self-healing' targets? I'm thinking of asking for those for Xmas...then I can practice at home during the summer months...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

I think those targets are only good for 22cal
I only time that I had ever used one I was shooting a 308. I can safely say it was NOT meant for large cal shootingIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

These were the ones I was thinking of. According to the package I think I should be able to use them...but I don't quite see it myself. But then again...I don't really know yet, do I?
