A very nice pleco but unfortunately I have never found enough info on it to add to the list. And your welcome Azurescriber; I hope this helps you pick the right pleco.

There are a number of rubbernoses that you may want to consider for your list, especially as they are becoming rather more readily available at even the big-box pet stores.

L444, L187, L442, etc in the Chaetostoma family.
All are roughly 5 inch full grown fish.

If you need more info on the L450s, I would be more than happy to help. I have been raising and breeding these 450s for 2+ years now, and have learned quite a bit. They are a typical hypancistrus, mainly a carnivore but will take some vegie, will not harm plants, and prefers (but not essential) slightly warmer temps(82-84). They are not as reclusive as most hypans, as mine are out and about most of the day. If there are any other questions, feel free to ask. Thanx.

This is a great list! Thanks for posting it. Now I just need to research which ones won't dig up plants.

You are welcome glad it helped. Unfortunately plecos are a hit or miss with that. If you have a deep solid substrate you will be fine. If you have a sand substrate with plants like anacharis, java fern, java moss etc. You kind are screwed because they will accidentally knock out while digging. That goes for any pleco.
