What happened to my Pleco?
So I put a new small common pleco in my tank with 4 african cichlids, 1 albino bristlenose, a raphael catfish and a lace catfish... I haven't seen him in over a week (including looking at night) and moved around all the rocks and driftwood and can't find a sign of him (or any remains)... Is it possible he was eaten entirely or would I def. find a carcass if he was eaten?

First off welcome to the AC as I see its your 1st post

What kinda africans is he in with? As you said he is a small fish, they can hide amazingly well. I think he will be hiding, if he did die though then it wouldn't bee too surprising not to find a carcassMy therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

The raphael I rescued from a friend who needed to get rid of his aquarium (Was leaking) or else I never would put him in with cichlids.. Eventually I am going to get another tank with either tetras or guppies and will move him into that tank. I am really thinking he isnt live because I havent seen him cling to the glass in over a week...Last edited by numus; 05-29-2012 at 10:23 PM.
