Thoughts on my fathers Rainbow fish?

My dad made a video capturing his rainbow fish in action.

From what I saw it looked WAY overstocked. How many gallons is this tank? and what is the stock?

Well.. at least the video is of decent technical quality and it doesn't feature annoying music.

On the other hand, that tank is as crowded as the subway in early rush hour.

These are all rainbows idoerr. Like ALL. Though I agree that this is certainly overstocked the way it looks.

I hope your dad has a lot of filters for this tank, or else i am not sure how long will it last.

I know that they are rainbows. What I was wondering was what species and how many of each species there are in that tank.

I see Goyder trifasciatus and Bosemans and a few others that I might recognize but mostly hybrids to my eye.

These make very beautiful displays to be sure.

Whether the tank is over stocked has a lot to do with filtration. Bows are very oxygen sensitive and you can be sure if it had an issue they would show it. They all look very healthy and not suffering from kidney issues which can plague bow species from a diet of too much fat and protein.

I'd say the guy has a fabulous looking aquarium there, nice job.
