PH for shrimp

I found a private vendor online that I am going to buy some floating plants from and they are also selling some shrimp that I really like the look of. They are Dark Headed Bumble Bee shrimp hybrids.

I looked these shrimp up online and found their preferred temperature and PH.
Preferred PH: 6.0 – 7.2
Water Temp: 68 – 76

My tank temp is 77 for my neons and my PH sits steady at 8.0.
Are shrimp really sensitive to PH? If so, would it be possible for them to adapt to live in my tank?

I recently read the conversation going on regarding drip acclimation in General Freshwater and part of the discussion was that fish don't adapt to PH in a matter of hours, rather a matter of days. Would shrimp that just survived overnight shipping survive a slow introduction to such a drastic change in PH?

The vendor is shipping my plants on Tuesday so I would like to decide by then if I'm giving these shrimp a try or not.

Shrimps are quite adaptable. Best thing in this case would be to ask the vendor what they keep them in.
