    Default pop-eye in female gourami

    0 Not allowed!
My sparkling gourami pair has been nesting continuously for about 3 months. I noticed today that the female has a bulging eye. Water parameters are all good, and no other fish has this malady. I think she probably damaged it during spawning. Should i just watch her and leave her alone or do i need to intervene with treatment?

    Thanks for any guidance

While it's possible the eye is merely damaged, could you post your latest parameter readings: Ammonia, nitrites & nitrates
How often do you change your water and how much at a time?

i have separated her into a hospital tank and treating her for pop-eye. She seems to be doing well. All other fish in the tank have no problems.
I just do strip testing, but all parameters are w/i safe range. I also do a 20-30% water change weekly. I really think she may have damaged her eye during spawning.

    thanks for your help
