bristle nose catfish
hi all i just rejesterd on this and i have a 4 foot tank and have a breeding pera of bristle nose cathfis in there i had 2 eletrec yellows in there and 1 blue dolpen and 2 tandaus cat fish the 1st time they breed but all the babes got eaten and the other day i got ried of all the fish and now have just bristle nose and they should have babes swimming around in anout two to 3 days and i was woundering is any one els was breeding them two so i could chat about it and if any one was breeding albeno bristle nose cats to bye some or fined out some thing about them so if any one can wb it would be good :D

I have breed them many times. The albino version can be breed exactly like the regular version.

The males have bristles on their head.

Are there any other differences between the male and female bristlenosed because every adult bristlenosed i have seen has bristles?

Perhaps I sshould have state that differently and said that males have much larger bristles. females still have small bumbs which i didn't count as bristles but I suppose one could.

Do the Bristlenose grow them after breeding or before breeding to attract a mate?

they develop the bristles when they get mature and adult fish have them all the time.
