pond plants...good idea???
I'm curious to hear from you guys. My thought was to go to a nearby pond and see what plants are there. Im sure I can find something for my 55 gal tank. I don't have substrate in my tank BTW. I live in Connecticut, so it's almost summer time. I have 2 t5NO bulbs, 32w @ 3000k each. I could double that when I build my canopy next weekend.
Any suggestions?
What to look for?
What to stay away from?

Many pond plants are seasonal and would not last long as well as carry disease you don't want in your tank. I don't think I would do that.
