I went with 60's on my tank and I certainly wouldn't go any less. I have 72 diodes on my tank and I have to dial them back to 85% to keep from cooking my corals. If I had tighter optics I'd have to have more diodes to prevent spotlighting and to get the proper coverage. I'd also have to dial them back even more.

the most common are 90 deg gives good coverage and excellent par rating but also also take into account the depth of tank and the lengh of the unit you using 60 90 give more direct light as said earlier you have to watch what your corals are reacting to the light you need to either dim them or higher the unit much better if you have a par reader, I have two freinds both running 120w reef star LED bridgelux for the last 18 months with excell growth both 90 deg lense I have got 1 120 watt 90 deg Bridelux = to a 250 halide and a 209 watt Sea star 120 deg LED epistar = 430 watt halide on the other end as experiment.
I tried to upload a picture of the beam angle of the 120 deg but cant work it out how to do
