frog feeding and vacations
A question for the frogkeepers out there!
I'll be taking several short vacations this summer - I'll be gone up to 4 days at a time. With my fish, I know the drill - fish can go that long without food easily. I don't know how well frogs do, though (I have one frog and two tadpoles that will hopefully be becoming frogs shortly). Will they be okay for that long without food or do I need to train my catsitter to feed crickets? Should I put a few extra crickets in before we leave, or is that a bad idea?300 gallon mega tank: build in progress

Being amphibians a frogs metabolism can slow down if it needs to, so if you feed extra before leaving 4days is no sweat. I don't keep frogs, but doing biology at uniMy therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

Yeah, I'd fatten them up real good first. Some nice beef heart would do the trick.
