I think this would make a great STICKY

After spending some time trying to figure out exactly how many gallon tank I had I realized that there are alot of different size tanks out there.

So I started searching for every size tank I could find and compounded a list for us to use to figure out tank gallon capacity.

Here are all the sizes I could come up with. If you know of others please feel free to add them to the list.

    It already is a sticky:

There is also a handy calculator in the left side menu:

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Hmm, There's already a sticky & it takes no time at all if you use the volume calculator on the LH side - Just saying:14

A list of standard sizes is here and one non-standard you left out is that my 100G long is 72"x18"x18".

EDIT: DO'H! Beat by mommy with her fireman like reflexes... :-P

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

I checked all the links people posted here thinking I made an idiot out of myself but nope as I previously thought the lists are nowhere near as complete as the one I made up which is why I did it so they would be in one place.

So if anyone wants to use my list then thats great.

If you would rather go to 5 different links with a few tanks listed on each one then thats cool too as we all have the right to waste our time however we wish.

For the tanks I don't know from memory, I usually just use the easy to use and handy calculator from the left hand menu, or a site like this; http://www.aqua-calc.com/page/tank-sizes . But Aeon is right, that list you must have been a lot of hard work

Great post and ready reference - good work.
    Knowledge is fun(damental)

A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is down to just two Sterba's Corys. Filters: continuous new water flow; canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber!! Finally, junked the nitrate removal unit from hell.
