    Default Blackspot on goldfish tail fins

    Hi

    I bought a new goldfish from shop.I did quarantine it. I have been treating it for fungal infection. But today I observed Black spot on the tail fins. Its standing out. Can i use Melafix/Pimafix for this? or Tetracyclin?

    Melafix and salt treament did the trick.

    My fish is fine now,all the black spots are gone now.

    Well, don't know what it was but never saw Melafix do much of anything much less in 11 hours. But glad it's gone, whatever it was.
