Aqua-glo i think is around 18000k and probably inhibited algae growth as it is too much on the blue spectrum.
It enhances the color of your fish, but it was hiding the fact that you have green water. Then, when you switched to a more 'whiter' light, you are now seeing the difference.
Anyways, try doing frequent water changes and maybe shorten your light period at 9 hours.Da name's Paul. Not Dave. ROFL
