Is this too much air 4 Guppies?

Hi I have Guppies coming today as some of you already know.

My question is what is too much air or oxygen?

10 gallon tank I have Two 6 inch air stones, 1 on each side of tank plus I have a sponge filter going. I also have a power filter(doesnt create air) but movement.

Should I shut down one stone? I added it to the tank to help with cycling.
I thought I read somewhere that they need a calm place in the tank with not a lot of movement. Is this true?

1 airstone, the sponge filter and power filter are to the left of the tank. If I turn the airstone off on the right side of the tank that would pretty much calm the right side of the tank. Should I do this or is it ok to keep the air going?

Your photo is fine

You could do without some of the bubblers, but they certainly would not hurt anything. As long as there is not too much flow for your fish, you should be OK

OK thank you. The one I dont even want in there.
I only out it in there because I read it will help bacteria grow.
I think Ill shut that one off for now.

You will see by how your fish react to the flow in the tank whether it's too much - to me that's a lotta water movement in that sized tank. I keep one airstone in my 46 gal and that's sufficient - again, you won't be doing a fishless cycle so you don't need to overdo the oxygen.

If you keep the airstones, I would suggest getting a feeding ring. It will keep the food you feed the guppies from blowing all over the tank with the surface agitation. It will help keep the tank cleaner.
