Is the turkey a pet? Or just a family member until the 25/12
My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

Many people do not understand keeping poultry ,and have a bias towards others who do.In my "meighborhood they complain, but to no end.As we are zoned agricultural.Did get rid of my old boy, because he gobbled to much.

Chickens are very addictive, and great additions to the family and garden.I also own several breeds of chickens. They are great at eating weeds and insects(put a fence around your own vegatables),plus they add color to you yard.BACKYARD chickens website is very informative. Here are some of mine that I hatch.

Very nice chickens, both Skull and Smaug! I wish my parents would let me have some chickens. I just love the thought of fresh eggs everyday. Are they complicated to keep?
I also want one of those domesticated foxes though ... I don't imagine the two would get along very well...
And a skunk... and a rabbit...
I need a bigger house

I don't know if they are complicated yet or not! I do know the one adult we have is a sweety and just loves to be held and stroked. Or little ones are too small to go outside permanently but we take them out on warm days. Daisy the adult does not like them at all and won't get near them. I: don't know what kind daisy is but so far we have 3 aracuna,2 black astalopes,1 dixie rainbow and rhode island red,all hens.

We've booked 5 new chickens, and a 2nd turkey from our breeder...we're going in August to pick them up. That will be fun.
But you've never truly experienced how bad chickens can smell...until you've had some in the back seat for 8 hours...
