I have branched out!
Into keeping chickens! This is the first of an eventual 8 we will be keeping,it was a rescue from one of my wifes coworkers. Her name is Daisey and she is very tame and a good egg layer. Here she is in our yard enjoying the grass.

She seems very nice and content
also very healthy for a rescue animal
My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

Not really a rescue I guess. He wanted to get rid of this particular one cause she was crapping on the car! Rescued from frying pan maybe!!

Hahaha thats the best reason to rescue a chicken! what would you rather have a nice dinner, 2 fillets, 2 wings, 2 legs, or scrambled/poached/fryed/boiled eggs and omlletes for several years
no brainer to me

I would love to keep a few chickens running about the garden.
I think it would be fun. Wouldn't have them for any other reason than think it would be fun lol

As pets with the benefit of getting eggs are the only reasons we have for keeping them. Unlike the endless bottomless money pits that are my aquariums and reef at least ill get something in return for the trouble!

thats cool, i have 5 chickens myself. i used to have around 25 but.... there was an issue with a hawk and a fox and now im down to 5. needless to say i was slightly devastated.
Finally reached 6 tanks... oh god, this addiction is getting serious. 75g mbuna tank, 65g gold severum, 55g OB peacock breeding colony, 30g(36x18) growout, 20 long Dwarf Alto's, 10g fry tank.
If I die young bury me in... An 8x2x2 with versa tops and a large sump for adequate filtration;)

I do worry about foxes. We are over run with them now that it isn't cool to wear fur anymore.
